Have you ever considered putting xnview in a public repository, so people could help you develop xnview. For instance provide patches to your codebase, write tests or something similar?

I am using Ubuntu and have been working with Windows for a long time. I would be very happy to help where I can. You could maybe consider to split the software into modules from which you could release at least some to the open source community.
What I am talking about is XNViewMP of course.
Best regards, aussenboarder

Or Pierre could consider turning XnViewMP Open Source with a subscription and support scheme just like the developer of FLOSS software Ardour.
Did you know that Red Hat is the first Open Source company that made over a billion last year?

				please make it open source.
XnViewMP is the best image viewer but is sadly full of bugs (I am sorting out my images now and it keep crushing all the time. Like 100x a day no kidding).
It is obvious that is more simple to just revise code than writing it.

We've been posting bugs on the forum, but more developers can do more work than one developer. It's as simple as that
