Ellipse Selection Tool & fixed area screencap option

First of all, I want to say I love this program; it's Awesome! I use it for editing and viewing my pictures and for modifying game textures files,
and it is vastly simpler than other options I have tried...

However there are 2 features that I would really, really like to see -

1) when you select an image to view, I wish it were possible to use an ellipse selection tool to crop, or copy and paste parts of the image.
There already is a rectangular selection tool, which is great, but sometimes I want an elliptical (circular) edit (if you can do this, maybe also add a free-selection tool too?)

2) I also wish it were possible to define a specific screen-capture size - in pixels. Sometimes I need to capture just a small part of my screen, and being able to define a specific size (128x128 to be specific) would simplify things greatly. I know it is possible to take a screenshot and then resize the canvas, however doing this for multiple files becomes quite tedious. This is an unusual feature that even many dedicated screen-capture programs are missing, and the ones that have it only support exporting the images to a small number of formats.

If these features could be implemented, I would have no further need for any other image editing/capture/display software and lots of "simple" editing or screencapture work that currently involves multiple steps and programs would become much easier. :D

I'm new to XnView, and like KMP, find it awesome! However, I'm missing the ability to select areas other than rectangles for cutting and pasting parts of images ie circles, ellipses, freehand shapes. Or is this possible, but buried somewhere I can't see in Tools > Options? Help to find this feature (or its addition to the program) would be appreciated. With thanks.

Sorry, there's currently no such tool in XnView.
