xnView: Ability to right-click drag and copy or move

Is there any chance that we might get more direct file management functions aside from the "Copy" and "Copy to Folder" functions? It would be great if:

1. In the directory tree on the left, be able to move folders into other folders or rearrange. I know that we can do this by left-click-dragging from the right side thumbnails to the left side, but being able to do so entirely in the left side folder tree would be helpful also.

2. On the right side thumbnail window, we can currently select a group of files and, while holding down the left mouse button, *move* them to a folder on the left side directory tree. It would be very useful to be able to select a group of files and, while holding down the *right* mouse button, drag them to a folder on the left side directory tree. Then, let go of the right mouse button get a small popup selector to Move, or Copy. Right now we can "Copy to Folder" but if you're managing/moving files across many folders, it becomes time-consuming, and requires many extra clicks, to select and/or change the destination folder each time. By adding the right-click-and-drag while holding the right-button, you simply drag to the destination, let go, and select move or copy...

Yes? :)

I strongly second this suggestion. Been missing that badly.

To copy, hold down Ctrl while dragging with the left mouse. Move is the default anyway.

Interesting, will try it out in the morning, thanks for that tip!

You should get a little +Plus-sign on your mouse cursor. Try toggling it On/Off while holding down the left mouse button.

It's the same all over Windows, I always use it to make sure I do actually copy and not move (although it is not required for some instances, Windows by default always copies between different drives, and moves when dragging within the same drive.
