"Synchronize Browser selection with current View" problem

This option has the following effect:

1) If you select an image in the browser window, then open it in the viewer window, then move to another image in the viewer window, then switch back to the browser window, the last viewed image will be selected. If the option is off, the first viewed image will be selected.

2) If you select more than one image in the browser window, then switch to the viewer window, then back to the browser window, the selection is lost and only the last viewed image is selected. If the option is off, the selection is retained.

I would like to have the behaviour that in the first case the last viewed image is selected (option on) and that in the second case the selection is retained (option off). However, that's not possible with this option. I wonder if this option is necessary.

Tested with XnView v2.33 (2015-06-18) and v2.34 (2015-09-07) on Windows 7 64 bit SP1.
