*.MOV in slideshow makes XnView crash

Post by Sabine » Sun Jan 29, 2017 11:07 pm

I'm running XnView (2.39, extended version) on Windows 10. When I select a *.mov file in XnView program, the video plays automatically in the preview window without any problem.
But within a Slideshow, the video launch does not work: my Slideshow (*.sld file) runs fine until the first *.mov file. Then an error message appears (standard Windows message "XnView for Windows does not work anymore", no helpful text) and XnView closes.

Is there any setting I have to change or any other trick I can use?

Welcome to the forum, Sabine. Is QuickTime or a codec pack installed on your system?
