Cannot open PPS

I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find the solution for the current version of XnView 2.4.3. Is there a plugin I can install? Which one? Thanks in advance.

It can extract embedded image from pps but not all

Thanks for your reply.

I have another pps file that I can open, and view the images by clicking on the previous/next buttons. However, other pps files make XnView unresponsive, endlessly trying to load the file, and I have to close it. This was not happening with the previous versions, where at least the embedded file was opened and the slide show would continue. Now it crashes. All files can be opened with other software.
