PNG images with transparency to webp format

I can not convert PNG images with transparency to webp format ... always getting white background, please help(( :(

is it 32bits?

Hello sir, sorry for the delay ... it's 64 bits, well I do not know what's going on I love XnConvert only had this one problem with the software

Dear Pierre,

I have the same problem. I found that conversion gives unaccepteble results (white background instead of transparency, distorted edges) if the bitdepth of the input PNG file is not 24bpp (8bpp for example).
could you have a look at this please I would be more than grateful indeed.

The attached image is just an example, it only has 2 colors, so the distorted edges are the same in the resulting 24bpp webp format as in the original png.

Welcome to the forum, ucsendre.

This is a known issue. Please make sure to increase the color to 32-bit before converting this kind of images.
