Categories/Keyword Tagging ???

I have the most recent version of XnView.

I may be wrong, but my understanding is that "Categories" is what most programs call Keyword Tags.

Try as I may, I have not been able to figure out how to create new tags/categories and also sub-tags/categories; is this possible; and if so, how ?

Select "catégories" in : "View, Tree pane" menu
In this new screen, you can right-click on a category to add, delete, rename ...
When finished, select View, Tree pane, Folders ... to come back to normal display

Instead of using text menus, you can use the three buttons at the top of the folders pane.

I think XnviewMP is better than Xnview for tagging.
XnviewMP categories can automatically write IPTC or XMP keywords in pictures.

I may also refresh my MP installation to the latest version and do my tagging there.
