XnView 1.50: save as TIF CCITT Group 4 compression

Post by Pascal »

desperate with TIF compressions: how can I convert a file into TIF with CCITT Group 4 compression ??

The option offered in the save-options "binary options" CCITT G4 doesn't really get the result I wish.
For a single page I expect a 1 Bit file with about 100kB size.
All my trials lead to either a LZW-compressed or jpg-compressed 24 Bit file.

Thanks for your help!

First, use the 1.68.1.
Your original file is in 24bits?? Use Image/convert binary, before to save it.

You must convert your picture in binary.
