Post by TGB_72 »

Xnview doesn't keep the aspect ratio of some image files in the preview pane, otherwise when I clic in these image files Xnview cannot dispplay the file rightly

Aspect ratio problem in preview

Image properties:
Format: JPG trucolor (v1.1)
Width: 640
Heigth: 480
# of bits: 24
DPI: 26x20
Compression: JPG

This didn't happen in previous versions of xnview, otherwise I open the image with irfanview and it is displayed perfectly. Hope you can fix it.

No, the problem is that your file has different DPI for W and H.
And there is a problem between view/High zoom/reduce & General/Adjust zoom if X/Y dpi...

I was wrong when I said that this issue wasn't present in previous versions, I thought it wasn't but now that I installed v1.80.3 I realize that it was there.
I'll wait for a fix in next 1.90.1 if it's possible, thanks in advance and best regards.

Uncheck Options>General>Operations>'Adjust zoom if X/Y DPI are different' and see if the images display correctly afterwards.
