XnView 1.95
This animated GIF (created with VirtualDub 1.8.6) doesn't play properly in XnView:
You can see that Firefox 3.0.3 can play the animation properly without these artefacts!

Can anybody reproduce it? It still happens in 1.95.2 here ...

Here another example:
http://phil.ipal.org/tc.html (first image on the page) -> XnView can't handle it properly
Maybe this helps:

Don't know if this is fixed 100% in 1.96.
If I try to view the GIF from within Total Commander I just get a small red square. No animation shown.
In XnView standalone the animation seems to work fine. I'm just not sure if the red background is right!?
