Renaming Directories in Browser

Post by lipidicman »

I have experienced a bug with 1.80.3. If I have a directory named "something" and I rename another directory "nameless" to "something" by mistake then instead of notifying me XNview puts "nameless" inside "something". Very odd!

Worse if I rename "something" to "Something" then it puts it inside itself as many times as it can until it runs out of directory depth.
eg d:\scans\something\something\something\something\something\.....and so on
A side effect is that the filenames revert to 8.3 names

Ah, OK. I have the latest stable release then? Where do you get the alpha releases?
