When closing an Hex view to revert to another opened Hex view, XnView will crash.
To reproduce: select two files, open them in Hex mode (Menu>Tools>View in Hex mode) and close the current window -> Crash.
(it won't happen if you switch to another normal view in between, as it will revert to that normal view instead of the Hex view)

Re: OK here
Good morning everyone,
(do you see what I mean?
)
The problem is not when I just switch from one to another: it's when I close an Hex view and XnView should then focus on another Hex view (ie: activate 2 hex views in a row, then close). I get it systematicaly on XP SP2 (tried with several JPEGs and all kind of files).Clo wrote:I can't reproduce this with one JPG and a (big) animated GIF, both displayed in hexa; I can switch from one to the other n… times, all is OK.

Re: I did so
It seems I am the only one able to reproduce it...xnview wrote:I can't reproduce it, do you have a way to reproduce it?

Pierre: I send you my ini file by email. Maybe it will be easier to reproduce with it.

Re: I did so
I guess that you are the only one who can verify whether this has been fixed or not. Could you please check, Olivier?Olivier_G wrote:It seems I am the only one able to reproduce it...xnview wrote:I can't reproduce it, do you have a way to reproduce it?
