I've now tested the new DLL on Windows XP SP3 and 2K SP4 (after removing the settings of older versions from the registry).
I still get five zero-length TMPs per MP3 file :?

In '....\Local settings\Temp'?? No TMP files for me...

What about %WinDir%\TEMP\?

Any MP3 will do, as long as it does *not* have an image embedded in it.

Can really no one reproduce this?
As I said: I have this on XP SP3 (fresh install) and 2K SP4.

Indeed. :bugconfirmed: With the shell extension from beta 4, I get 3 empty temp files in my %temp% directory when right-clicking MP3 files that doesn't contain an embedded picture.
