Hi Pierre,

I downloaded both the "App", and the "Exe"-Version, and here are my results;

1.) Downloaded the "App", unpacked, and started it. First X11 comes up, and next I get a nice little window telling me "Running"... One minute,... two minutes,... seven minutes later... nothing happens. So I hit cancel, and download the Exe.

[Note: A message telling me running, and nothing actually happens... reminds me 'bout some certain OS here, now, doesn't it?] :P

2.) Now the Exe... download and unpack it... one click and about one and a half seconds later, X11 comes up, and in an blink of an eye... Xnview! Wow!! And it even always seems to remember my last used folder! Cool!! ^^

Thank you, Pierre! ^_^

Well, it doesn't matter for me much, if I use the Exe, or the App, but... I thought you would like to know...

It did this to me too, but after I hit cancel I launched it again (with X11 still open), and it started up fine. Colors are right, hooray! One more bug though: when I go to browse any folder aside from the one that pops up first when I hit the "browse" icon, the program crashes with this report:

EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x0b008370

Thank you. As a result of reading various posts in this forum, I've managed to install X11 and run XnView. It works fine on ordinary PhotoShop, jpegs, etc; but, after all that, XnView doesn't decode the DCR files I wanted to open. :(
