XnView on Intel Macs Display Strange Colors

Post by jonathanw »

I can not get XnView to display the correct colors on Intel Mac Mini's. The same setup on PowerPC Mac Mini's works fine.

A screenshot of the problem can be found here:

I get the same problem with jpeg png and tiff files as well. I have not tested outside of these four formats (gif, jpeg, png, and tiff) but I assume the result would be the same with any image regardless of format.

Some good news however is that XnView does save images correctly and when those images are opened in other programs the images display without color problems. The screen shot you see was convered from tiff to jpeg using XnView on the same machine the screenshot was taken from.
