Export for nconvert: shadow option does not work

Post by jacomo »

Hi!

I am using Ubunu 16.04 and nconvert 6.88 (NConvert-linux64.tgz)
I used XnView for batch-converting with following action: "Shadow-Highlight".
Then I exported the command with "Export for NConvert..."

It shows me:

Code: Select all

nconvert -shadow 0 100
Now I used following command:

Code: Select all

./nconvert -shadow 0 100 -o outfile.jpg infile.jpg
Result:

Code: Select all

Bad argument -'shadow'
What's going wrong?
Many Thanxx

Many thanks for your fast reply.

By the way:
I am using the filter to get a unique white background after scanning a document with black text. The filter is very good for this job because it doesn't change the colour much.

Does anybody know an alternative filter / tool (maybe with imagemagick) for the time I have to wait for the update?

Thanxx
