Function-Set of Version 7.12: Windows VS Linux

Post by David9123 »

Hi Pierre,

thanks for your great work on nconvert! I've got a question on the new Linux-Version of nconvert. I changed to an Ubuntu-Distribution recently and don't use Windows any longer. I tried to run the .bat-Files generated with XnView. Unfortunately I get an error.

Command in bat:

Code: Select all

nconvert -rtype hanning -resize longest 3840  -wmopacity 100 -wmfile "/home/user/myfotos/Logo_2015.png" -wmflag bottom-left  -text_font "Arial Black" 58 -text_color 255 255 255 -text_back 0 0 0 -text_flag bottom-left -text_pos 400 -200 -text_rotation 0 -text "My Topline" -text_font "Arial" 50 -text_color 255 255 255 -text_back 0 0 0 -text_flag bottom-left -text_pos 400 -30 -text_rotation 0 -text "{Filename}
Result:

Code: Select all

Bad argument -'text_font'
It looks like the -text functions are not implemented in the Linux version. Are there differences in the releases for different operating systems?

Best regards, David
