What about option to create a subfolder in original folder, similar to subfolder option in shell extension, for example:

original path+image1: D:\Pictures\folder1\image1.jpg
original path+image2: D:\Pictures\folder2\image2.jpg
output path+file1: D:\Pictures\folder1\Converted\image1.jpg
output path+file2: D:\Pictures\folder2\Converted\image2.jpg

Actions tab: Processing - menu system is not very intuitive, I suggest few favourite actions, buttons with drop down menu button for every option to change it. For example:

[Resize] [v]
[Rotate] [v]
[Crop] [v]...

Output:

Another suggestion for often used convert options - integrate them in convert dialog / output tab, at least quality, number and drop down menu with most common values. It should be near Format, or Settings.

...Or another way for format options, not another dialog, just expand a current window.

Filename:

Numeric enumerator # - starts with 0, it should start with 1 by default IMO and there should be a way to set the start number, e.g. ###[13].

Preview for filename (multirename) would be useful too. Perhaps the same space might be used as for output format settings, with option to show one of these, or close it.

Where is "auto-close dialog when done" option?

i've just tryed to reproduce it to describe it here steb by step, but... it works perfectly now.
it were troubles with filesystem on my usb hdd:
- preview was generated
- there wasn't any error messages in log (only "/path/to/file.jpg: loaded" and "/path/to/file.jpg: saved")

so problem only in misssing error messages
sorry.
