Hi again,

This menu item in the Browser's right click is a very useful feature in which I use;

It would be better to rename it, in English, as Explore file's folder or Explore folder of file

EDIT:
I renamed the topic 8)

I also find this command very useful and use it a lot.

Context menu(s) for search results in Everything:
  • Folders
    • Open
    • Open Path
    • Explore
    • Explore Path
    • Copy Full Name to Clipboard
    • Copy Path to Clipboard
  • Files
    • Open
    • Open Path
    • Explore Path
    • Copy Full Name to Clipboard
    • Copy Path to Clipboard

It's just a matter of my opinion really, especially when written in English. Also it's only two words which is concise.

I finnaly think, Explore Folder might be better (in english). Since the computer terminology of 'folder' is more known to more users than the than the word 'path'.

What do you think Pierre?

As for the Everything search engine, Explore Path opens an Explorer window with the folder tree on the left and the file pane on the right, while Open Path opens the folder in single-pane view (no folder tree).

In XnView Classic, we have Open containing folder in the context menu for files and folders.

In XnView MP, there's Open containing folder [Ctrl+O] (always greyed out) and Open in file explorer.

Yes!

The "Open containing folder" was what I was looking for. But why is it greyed out?

"Open containing folder" is used for search or category result. To go to the folder of the picture...
