Hi again,

Just been playing around with latest XnView MP 0.35 and found this 'Web Capture' feature within xn Browser mode's top menu bar under 'Create'. Hehe I am impressed with the ability to capture a web page screenshot to an image file directly to XnView MP.

Right, some ideas for enhancements:

1.) a tickbox named 'Original width' , so this would grey-out the width selection box choice and just use the original width dimensions of the site for the image.

2.) a tickbox (default enabled) named something like 'Pre-warn on load' - this would inform the user if the web page is too heavy to load e.g. too much graphics, flash or dynamic scripts that could delay the process or crash the whole app. This feature would pre-analyze the web page, perhaps give a small window summary, then give a user the choice 'continue' to commence with the capture.

3.) Include Flash - this would enable the capture to include the still image used on flash videos on webpages that aren't played. Awesome feature that is lacking in Firefox's Screengrab addon

4.) Insert header/footer image option - with ability to insert the URL, capture time/date & other info as a banner image at the bottom of the generated capture image.

5.) Metadata creation settings for auto-embedding the URL, capture time/date & other info within the image

Sorry but currently not possible

So an option to add URL & capture time/date at the top of captured image?

1) - this should be possible... The thing is I want full width and not having to define a width that would affect dimensions quality of capure.
2) - understood, too complex
3) - understood

yes, option for top OR bottom of the image. in a background. FastStone Capture can do this
