Hi there, I have photos that are set out as a folder hierachy on the computer.

They are all tagged. So I'd like to start at the absolute root of all my folders and start typing in tag names - I think it would be awesome for XnView MP to be able to display these tags dynamically from all the child folders. Combined with multiple tags this could be a powerful features.

For example: If I start on my absolute root photo folder and type in:

Outdoor, trees, overcast

XnViewMP will search all child photo's tags and display photos containing all these keywords. And if I were to type this:

Outdoor, trees, overcast -flash

It would do exactly the same but remove the photos with the "flash" tag.

Hope that makes sense!

Currently the only way is to use 'search'

I think it's useful since XnView uses a database, to be able to manage many thousands of images and search this database would make it quite powerful. Pretty much exactly how Picasa works when searching images.
