Hi,
I found if I zoom out a tif image, the quality is quite bad as it doen't do the resampling.

Tools | Settings | View | High Zoom Quality
What value do you have there?

The setting is "reduce", I tried different setting but the result is same and only happened on .tif image, .jpg is fine.
Below image (both zoom out to 56%) show the difference of rendering.
