I have a large collection of animated gifs that have been converted into gifv, webm and mp4 to reduce their file size. For example, a 3MB animated gif into a 300KB webm file. I usually go to gfycat.com or imgrush.com to convert all the animated gifs. I think imgur may have also started doing something similar. I was wondering, can XnViewMP include an option to automatically loop/repeat video file formats or specific containers like webm gifv? Was hoping to get a nice image viewer than can treat these file formats like gifs.
So far, XnViewMP plays video files very well and I really like it.

Re: XnViewMP Loop/Repeat Videos (gifv webm mp4)
Will the Loop/Repeat function be a possible feature in the future? If not, is there an Image Viewer for Linux that can do something similar?
I would like to be able to easily showcase both animated gifs and small looped video clips.

Found something:

Unofficial PPA?: https://launchpad.net/~dhor/+ppa-packages
I have not tested it yet, but it looks like it might be a good alternative.
