XnView Software

Hello.
I just propose, if it's possible, that the file name of the XnViewMP installer get the version number inside.
Actually is always : XnViewMP-win-x64.exe
I propose this way: XnViewMP-win-x64_v0.86.exe

Is better to identify immediately which file we have in the computer and it avoid to overwrite a previous version while downloading the new version.
What do you think about?

If it practical for Pierre, it would simplify installing new versions... [Normally ZIP for me]

I'm also in favor of this suggestion, but it seems as if Pierre has his reasons:

• Version number in download files
• Version on the filename
• XnView download
• Request: add version number into the download path
• Version number in setup filename
• Release practices - include version in tarball name

• xnview-pad.xml
• xnview-pad-de.xml
• xnviewmp-pad.xml

• update.txt
• xnviewmp_update.txt

OK, I can understand. I will follow to do it myself.

the problem is the download servers which have a link, and often don't update it
