Hi,
I am working on linux. And in the linux-world there is only one, really only just one program that can rename RAW-Files toghether with their xmp files.
This program is KDE's "digikam".
But I would rather work with XnViewMP because I find its quick feature-rich AND cross-platform (!).
Could we implement this feature?
The situation is: lets say I manage my photos with xnview and then edit raw files with darktable, an xmp file for every raw-photo is created. And at this point digikam is the only program that shows me (just) the raw files; I can now batch-rename these raw-files and the corresponding xmp-files are renamed also, so that the changes are NOT LOST.
THIS would be a killer-feature in XnViewMP
Thanks

Hi pragomer,
I faced the same pb when i definitaly migrate my photo plateform to linux.
Xnview CAN DO IT ! See option "import and sort" in the Tool menu.
As an alternate solution, you can have a look here: http://www.damonlynch.net/rapid/
