Yes, i can bind it two actions on two different mouse buttons, but it unconfortable.
I ask you to do this in one action.

alternatively you can set the left button mouse (without modifier) to make selection and assign the CTRL key (or SHIFT or ALT) to zoom selection. This way you have to keep the CTRL button pressed while you make the selection to accomplish the same result.

This helps, but it would also be nice to be able to assign "Zoom to selection" to a hotkey, the way one can for:
cmd_lockZoom
cmd_zoom100
cmd_zoomIn
cmd_zoomOut
