0.64 Win7 x64: sort by ISO value doesn't work correctly

Post by Fraenzken »

Sort by ISO doesn't seem to work correctly - it sorts the values in an alphanumerical way, e.g. ISO100 is followed by ISO12800, ISO1600, ISO200, ISO25600, ISO3200, ISO400, ISO 6400, ISO800.

Cheers

Sure. It is a side effect of the fact that the program has all the EXIF/IPTC data in a black-box-untyped-bag stored in a memo field. The same stands for eg. the aperture it will sort like 1.4, 1.8, 11, 16... and after that 2, 2.2, 2.8, 22, and after that 3.2, 3.5... The solution is outlined here: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=28345
