XnView: MP 0.84 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 7 - 64bit
Browser:
can you keep the interface panels % size consistent in both maximixed and windowed mode?
Effect: annoyance, I have to resize the UI manually every time.
To reproduce:
1- I use 3 vertical panels (folders+preview+list) at like 25%-50%-25% at 100% of the screen.
2- if I "restore down" to a 50% width window, the ratios become like 35%-60%-5%.
3- if I don't modify anything and maximize again, the ratios become like 15%-40%-45% (WTF?).
Actual behaviour (bug): different %
Expected behaviour: same %
0.84: UI panels % size not consistent

Re: 0.84: UI panels % size not consistent
It works ok for me - however I think that it is very important WHAT panels do you have.
Can you post a screenshot?
You can use XnView itself (in menu Tools look for Capture...) to grab one.

(I've removed the data and left only the panels)
Re: 0.84: UI panels % size not consistent
I use a layout with folder list on left, image file listing in the middle and categories list on the right. Both the folder and the categories list are each about 10% of full screen width.
As I narrow it, the folder and categories list panes stay the same number of pixels wide, while the file listing gets narrower or wider, depending on the direction of change.
This is how I want it, as the folder and categories lists are generally already as narrow as possible, while staying useful. I do not want them changing as a fixed ratio.

They could just add an option, so everyone would set it as they wish.CameronD wrote:I do not want them changing as a fixed ratio.
