[0.87]And more old event trigger issues

Post by jadO »

Redoing a thumbnail of e specific file does not start unless view being scrolled.
100% reproducible for me: Find a file that for that thumbnailing needs to be re-done. For example a video file that does not display 4 images.
Select it. Click "rebuild thumbnails". Watch as nothing happends. Now simply scoll one line up or down. Watch how the new preview gets generated instantly without any further action.
This seems to me that there is no trigger or at leat a failing trigger the start the thumbnailing process after it has been seleted.

Just to be clear, I am talking about video files and rebuilding thumbnail for one or more selected files.
So for you when you click rebuild thumbnails from the menu, the process starts immediately?
It does not for me. I just tried again and I can 100% reproduce. I am using ffmpeg, maybe that is the difference?

As said, it happens with any movie file. It does not matter which format.
