XnView: MP 0.88 - 64 bit
OS: Ubuntu 16.04 64bit
Pierre, this is a strange effect I'm having with batch convert when trying to overlay a mostly transparent PNG.
The original image is mostly red. I overlay a transparent PNG. The resulting image is mostly blue.
Effect: Color change when overlaying transparent PNG
To reproduce:
1. Save the attached files. (They come in the reverse order I selected them, i.e. the input file is at the end.)
2. Highlight the input image called Berry 45 Demon 2016 sleeve.jpg
3. Start Batch Convert
4. Unzip the png_overlay.xbs rules file from the zip and load it. (Forum software does not allow uploading xbs files, so I had to zip it.)
5. Check that there's only one conversion rule: overlay a stretched file
6. Change the path of the overlay file Watermark Morten 800s.png to the location you saved it to.
7. Preview or simply convert (in this case you probably need to set the target directory correctly).
Actual behavior (bug): The original reddish image becomes blueish. The file Berry 45 Demon 2016 sleeve_watermarked.jpg shows the result.
Expected behavior: Overlaying transparency should not change any colors.
Regards
Dietmar
