(All versions) Can't batch rename files when conflicts are present

Post by cyberspectre »

XnView: MP 0.9 - 64 bit (Also on previous versions)
OS: Windows 64bit

Batch rename utility fails when files with conflicting names are present in the target directory

Effect: Error dialog - "An error occurred, files can't be renamed."

To reproduce:
1. Create four files in the same directory, named as follows:
- file1.jpg
- file2.jpg
- file1.png.jpg
- file2.png.jpg

2. Attempt to use batch rename on file1.png.jpg and file2.png.jpg, replacing ".png.jpg" with ".jpg"

Actual behaviour (bug): Error dialog, no action performed :bug:

Expected behaviour: Confirmation dialog prompting overwrite of old files
