moving pics to another folder will mess the scroll

Post by vicsharx »

When moving images to another folder the thumbnail browser will leave you in the same scroll relative position and not in the area around the last thumbnails displayed.
For example, imagine we select the first 50 images of a folder with 1000 images. Naturally we would select the first image and then scroll down to select the number 50th with shift as this would select the first 50, labeled from 01 to 50. Once we drag them to another folder the thumbnail browser keeps the same scroll relative position resulting that will scroll down from the current position and instead showing the number 51 and following will show the number 100 and following.
This is quite confusing as basically means that it jumps to a random position in the browser each time we move images.

You are right. Equally confusing. I mean there is no reason or utility to do it except a glitch left there. But in any case it is a different program.
Total Commander for example won't do it.
