cursor XY coordinates not updating when selection is made

To reproduce:
1. open any image in Viewer
2. make selection, release mouse button

issue A
3. move cursor to any part of image
cursor XY coordinates (red rectangle) do not update

not really a bug, XY is selection position

I have added details to the post:
A - selection already has its XY coords (origin: top-left corner) in brackets (purple rectangle)

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
