XnView 1.96 beta 1
Moderators: XnTriq, helmut, xnview
This beta detects 1.95.4 as a newer version
Just installed the beta and was happy to see the rotation being applied to the image only after the user stops typing.
Also noticed that it detects 1.95.4 as a newer version. Is this normal?

See: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=16741pic_viewer wrote:When starting from a file via TC into fullscreen view XnView crashes imediately on my Vista system. See also my other crash which might be cache related. I'm back to 1.954 now.
I bet it's the same bug.

I get an error message starting the application:
This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Clicking 'ok' then starts the application which seems to work ok anyways.
My environment: Windows XP SP3 (English)
Anything else you need?

Don't worry about it. It's just a plug-in with dependency to runtime dll you don't have. The plug-in wont work without the dll file, but otherwise it XnView works normally.afloom wrote:I get an error message starting the application:

To get rid of the message, you can either delete IlmImf.dll file XnView plugins directory or you can download msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll (also required) from internet and copy them in XnView directory.
