Feature requests for the Android version:
- template editing... or renaming, at least (oh, pesky typos )
- browser: long press picture to select (long press first & last to select a consecutive range of pictures, tap to select additional pics), tap to view when nothing is selected (= Android expected behavior, i.e. Simple Gallery, F-Stop & likely others)
- user interface improvements (see below)
- editor/converter integration - cropping before or AFTER resizing (while only saving once) would be really neat
This app is great, my go to batch resizer going forward, especially since webp support seems pretty rare otherwise.
That said, configuration can be a bit awkward and not self-explanatory. The resize dialog is missing a hint that leaving either the height or width fields empty will keep the original aspect ratio - easy to miss. I've been using the app for months & looking for that feature without realizing it's already there.
Template creation mode: the "Convert" button is non-functional, and the pop-up hint to "save" the template is a less than straight forward suggestion to use "Append" option from the dot menu, if the user can find it. Why not just change it to label/function "Save template" and be done? (Then again, why can't I create templates while resizing my own pictures? ... Never mind.)
Could you integrate the editor with the resizer/converter? Intermediate saves degrade image quality.
That's it for now, and thanks again for all your hard work!

Re: XnConvert for Android suggestions
From other thread:
yes android 11 restrictions- no way to change the output folder (Android 11+ restrictions? No problem with older OS)
which one?- user interface idiosyncrasies (see link above)
you would like to choose bilinear, lanczos or other resize kernel?Btw, why is there no bicubic resize option? Or other resize algorithms from the likes of Avisynth, other than lanczos & bilinear?
You can edit current template by using same name... But perhaps not easy to use?
Right long press to select consecutive range must be added!- browser: long press picture to select (long press first & last to select a consecutive range of pictures, tap to select additional pics), tap to view when nothing is selected (= Android expected behavior, i.e. Simple Gallery, F-Stop & likely others)
you means in batch convert, to be able to add a crop before or after, right?- editor/converter integration - cropping before or AFTER resizing (while only saving once) would be really neat
You have 'AUTO', which will be better? That said, configuration can be a bit awkward and not self-explanatory. The resize dialog is missing a hint that leaving either the height or width fields empty will keep the original aspect ratio - easy to miss. I've been using the app for months & looking for that feature without realizing it's already there.
Sorry but i don't understand, you can use 'Add' from menuTemplate creation mode: the "Convert" button is non-functional, and the pop-up hint to "save" the template is a less than straight forward suggestion to use "Append" option from the dot menu, if the user can find it. Why not just change it to label/function "Save template" and be done? (Then again, why can't I create templates while resizing my own pictures? ... Never mind.)
what do you means?Could you integrate the editor with the resizer/converter? Intermediate saves degrade image quality.
