I installed new XnConvert-win-x64.exe over an existing 1.55-version, and it tries to repair C++2008:

Some new information:
Installing XnConvert_x64 to C:\Program Files and accepting the offer to repair Visual C** 2008 installs the following files to the root of my D:\ drive ...
File list:
Unexpected?

The setup file was run from my desktop which is on my D:\ drive, but XnConvert_x32 installs normally from the same location.

I know this from many other PCs; it seems to be an issue of C** and not of XnView. And I do believe it is not the installation, it is a not deleted unpacked installation package.
