x/y resolution settings / Photoshop

Post by Andyman »

In the Batch process I set "set dpi to x/y 72 dpi". The original image is an 305dpi image, edited in PS CS 2.

After converting the hirez-files via Xconvert I still see in Exiftools and Photoshop the xresolution and yresolution photoshopmarker set as 305 dpi. Why is that? I remember that in a previous version (using now 1.66) this issue was not visible. Any idea? Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem. I use Xnconvert in Windows 10. I begin with a large 300dpi jpg image and try to convert it to a smaller 500pixels size on the longside with a dpi of 72. The file converts to the 500pixel size but remains at 300dpi. See attached screen shots.
