Image not showing in input window

I'm using XnConvert for quite some time, but now there is an issue, possibly after updating to OS High Sierra.
I use the application in conjunction with the export function in Adobe Lightroom; in this function you can define an application to automatically open after the exporting is done, in this case xConvert.
Normally when xConvert opens, you see then the image-file appear in the input window. But now the windows stays empty.
I think I have seen this phenomenon in the past. After an update it was solved, however I cannot recall when.
The same happens when you right-click on an image in the finder and select open with … XnConvert.app; the input windows also stays empty.
I completely removed XnConvert and installed it new, but problem is still there.
Any ideas?
PS: Drag and drop works fine, but that's not the way I use it.
