Cutting up a large image to multiple images

Not sure whether this is possible in Xnconvert, so would appreciate any guidance.

Regularly create large master image files 40000W x 2000H in photoshop and then need to output them as multiple images by cropping to create a sequence of 2000W x 2000H images - ending up with a sequence of 20 frames 2K x 2K? Is there anyway of doing this as a batch process.

The manual approach is tedious to say the least, so any advice would be much appreciated!

XnConvert (currently and for the foreseeable future) can only output one image when it is run, so it would be necessary to run it 20 times with different crop parameters set...

While it would be unlikely to be a practical solution, it would be possible to export 20 scripts with the parameters required, and then run them in succession.

Slightly more practical, if you are familiar with the command line, would be to use NConvert and create a batch file that runs NConvert 20 times, with the crop parameters edited in each line to produce the required crops. If you needed to batch process a large number of files that could provide a good solution.

A 'split' function has been requested periodically, but not been implemented yet in XnView software.

There should, however, be a practical solution for single images using another freeware software, I'll PM you.
