Water mark only Jpegs leaving .Cr2 in same folder?

Post by xtacy78 »

Hello Everyone,

I have 100's of folders copied to NAS direct from SD cards. The folders contain both jpeg +.CR2 (canon Raw) images, we want to watermark just the jpegs or a copy of the jpegs. Can we do this? Please help.

Is there a way we can tell the program to ignore all files other than .jpegs?

On the Input tab on the Add files... menu there is an option to select a specific file type, but whether that input mode would be suitable for your situation I'm not sure; on the Add folder... tab there is no option to determine which files will be added...

A possible solution for your case, if needed, would be to make a copy of your folder structure that contains only the JPEG files: I'm not sure if that can be done in [Windows] but it should be easy using the command line with *.jpg. That is if you have experience with the command line.

Once you have a copy of your folder structure containing only JPEG files, it should be possible to watermark those files directly using XnConvert.

Tip: Always experiment with copies of files rather than original files!
