making different crops

Post by obelisk »

I'm not sure what tool to use. I usually make a color edit of a photo. Then I do a custom B&W in PS.

Then from these, I make a few different crops, wide, tall, square. I want the crops to be the same in color & bw versions.

Then of each crop, I want to make a few resizes at say 500, 1000, 2000px While I can make many scripts to do bits n pieces, I can't get 1 script to open the file and even make all the crops right?

Is there a way to do this at all, not manually? custom B&W stuffs me up.

And I want to be able to crop visually to ratios, not type pixels which differ photo to photo.

Also, are the xbs files the same as the xnview ones?
I see you can export bat for nconvert, but it doesn't save the folder options etc.

XnView MP & XnConvert use same xbs format.

Yes, correct. Like I set up a few xbs, and you load each photo and output 1 for each xbs.
I thought you can use bat, but you cant
