PNG compression issues

I don't know much about this, although I'm a fast learner. I have already configured my profile, I can use it to compress jpg.

PNG, I'm using but from 3mb it goes to 3.4mb, I don't understand why it goes up, I set it up to 9, some compress 30% but most of them don't compress or even increase the size. I saw a comment about color degradation 255, but some images look “ugly” when I compare them.

I wanted to know if there is a configuration or another program to compress png and gif.

Thank you very much for replying to this post, I liked this application because it saves the date of creation and can delete and replace the original.

You will need to provide download links to a PNG file that increases in size when output from XnConvert and also the resulting PNG file.

A screenshot of your XnConvert Output tab with the Settings window open would also be useful.
