Make XnView default file browser

Postby chanson78 » Wed Apr 26, 2017 10:08 am

Hello

I am a newbie to everything PC and also XnView. I went from MAC to PC about a month ago an I am still getting used to the PC system.

The short of it is that I am a 3D designer, I need to be able to do things like scroll through .hdr files quickly(which file explorer dosn't do) through a file browser when uploading an .hdr image to a "enviroment" via a program. What I want to do is make XnView my default file browser when inside certain programs like Cinema 4d, HDR Light Studio, etc., how can I do this?

Thanks in advance!

I do not, I also can't seem to figure out how to do that. For example, when I go to choose my default app for Photo Viewer the XnView app doesn't show up in the list.

My main goal(if possible) is to set XnView as my file viewer, for example when I am in Photoshop and go to File/Open the XnView finder pops up instead of the default Windows file viewer. Can that be done? If so, I will gladly donate some $$ because it would be a HUGE time saver for me.
