"XnView quit unexpectedly" error whenever I close image file

Postby paperbag » Tue Jan 02, 2018 4:51 pm

I am using XnViewMP on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) running OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan.
I am using XnViewMP version 0.88
When I open a file in XnViewMP, at the top of the image, above the toolbar, it says the image's name, with an "X" next to the image's name. However, when I hit this "X" to close the image, the entire program closes, and I get the "XnView quit unexpectedly" error. This happens no matter what image type I am looking at ( .jpg, .png, etc). I can close files ok if they are not the last remaining file. Closing the last remaining open file always results in the error.
There are a few times when closing an image file does not crash XnViewMP. This happens when I close an image file, and then XnViewMP goes to what looks like a default file, which is just called "< Empty >". There is no actual image. This seems to happen randomly.

The crash report is below. I took out the long "binary images" section of the crash report, because my post exceeded the max character limit.

you means the 'X' of the tab? Could you try the 0.89?
Pierre.
