If you could then sort by 'Total pixels' as in Dabola's post above that would be the ideal, wouldn't it?
You could then presumably delete all images with fewer than a certain number of pixels directly.

Yes indeed, that is the idea.
If I have images of a certain total number of pixels (e.g. all above 250.000) and they show up with decent sizes on my 2560x1440 monitor
(let's say around 14-15cm wide or so) then I know that they will show up even with slightly bigger dimensions on monitors with lesser resolutions.
Anything below 250.000 total pixels (example) would then be 'crap', will show up too small, can be deleted.
