Still crashing in 0.93.1 with the same files I uploaded earlier.
Would it be possible to have a setting to turn off xcf support so I could use the program?

I'm on Arch Linux if that makes a difference.
They are still on my gdrive so I guess they must expire? I made a new share link so let me know if this doesn't work.

I tried unchecking xcf from the included list before, and now added it to the excluded list as you suggested but it still crashes every time it sees an xcf.
I'm really at wits end. I've been using gimp and xnview side by side for a decade but now can't use it at all. I already can't use gimp while
xnview is open and I need to copy and paste inside gimp. Now with this I can't even browse my files since my xcf files are among my finished images.
Please help.

OK, I guess I'm really missing something.
Here's a 40 second video of my settings and what happens when opening a folder with the xcf files I linked before.

sorry you need to check 'Exclude' with xcf, remove xcf from 'Include', and disable 'show as thumbnail' for folder

check 'Exclude' with xcf,
Does this mean check the
Visible column?
I tried both ways and neither seem to work. Even tried unchecking "Show in Preview"
Can you post a screenshot of the settings I need?

Back again :\
It seems that thumbnails do not show for gimp's 32 Bit Floating Point Images. I just get a grey square.
I've attached a sample.
