Sort JPG Images and MVI Video by Actual Date Taken

I have a folder that has both JPG and MVI files in it, and I would like to sort it by the date taken (the source is from 2 different cameras). My problem is that MVI does not handle dates the same as JPG, and the "creation" date on an MVI is the related to when you copy the file onto your system vs when it was taken. So all my JPG files are just fine (MP says Sort -> Created Date, but it actually does the right thing and sorts by Date Taken, which is what you really want), but my MVI files, in my case, show up in 2 big groups.

From what I can tell, in MVI speak what I want is Date Modified, not Date Created. Anyone have any idea how to fix this so the all line up ? Is there a way to tweak how MP handles MVI files so it used Modified instead of Created ?

Thanks
Jack

So it seems the answer to this was pretty simple, you chose Sort By Date. Why it didn't look that way before I am not sure, but maybe I was just over-thinking it. And that helped a little, but didn't solve my actual problem, as if you Sort by Date and do a Batch Rename it will restart the numbering when it hits a different File Type. But at least it put them in order so I could manually rename the MVI files to get them into the order of the JPG files.
