Post by Elk »

How could on copy / move images / files to the favorite folders (panel, which is not possible) being always visible here without having to open them each time? I do not want to each time click me to the (favorite folders) to copy or move images.

You can't copy to the favorites folders but you can click on the tab above that says folders then find the folder to copy or move to.
Easier way is to ALT C for copy or ALT M for move then find the folder there. Then you will have a list of last used folders for next time
I also created a basket with some various folder that I don't use so often with shortcuts and hard links

I cannot find such a tab here. I have a panel /area called "Folders" with a folder tree, but I do not want to each time click through the folders.
Then you will have a list of last used folders for next time
Where is that list?
I also created a basket with some various folder that I don't use so often with shortcuts and hard links
Sorry, what basket? Whatfor?

Well opening the folder tree is one option.
Try selecting a photo and then pressing ALT C
You will get a dialog like this

Ah yes, the shortcut was not working before, was occupied by another program, thank you. Working now. So that is the fastes / easiest way to copy and move within XnView.

Thank you.

There is always cut and paste
The "basket I mentioned is a folder called "_basket" that contains symlinks and shortcuts to folders I use, but use less often

Yes, but you have to click one to the folders.

The basket, yes, so two clicks away from the (most used) folders.

Many thanks!
