The XnView HEIF plugin (obtained from viewtopic.php?t=36661) works great for displaying photos taken on new iPhones - but it seems to omit any sort of metadata; it isn't displayed, nor is it embedded in JPGs when doing batch convert. The image metadata can be shown by ExifTool, so it's definitely there.
Is this a known issue, and is there any solution?
